Just Some Casual Friends
This is embarassing! Repeatedly I have told George, Rummy, and JK to just keep things quiet. I like my friends, and they are never there to be used. Just the other day, Arnie and I were pumping iron. Unexpectedly he had to go, but he said, "I'll be back". I had no idea this was what he was talking about. And that Condi! We were at a church social the other night; a Baptist Women's tea party, I think. Then...I'm loaning her some dental floss...and now we chat on the phone everyday!
Anyhow, since the last election we've all been big buddies. We even have a little PastorDave & Friends, Inc. secret society. I'll not give away any of the secrets, but ole John really has that handshake mastered!

What do you mean? These guys are my friends, nothing more. For instance, GB was asking me what he should do since Dick was having such a hard time. I knew what he was hinting at. I just looked at him and said, "No, George. I'm not interested in that job." He seemed disappointed. But, the great thing is, we can be straight with each other. Except for Arnie- I'm just not sure about him.

Good stuff PD!! I like the cool pics & friends concept. The guy who won the purple hearts is really cool, but I have heard he likes to allow folks to kill little people. Hard to believe folks support kiling little folks huh?

Oh, that's just politics. We're talking friendship here. John and I had some interesting conversations while on that riverboat in Vietnam, but that's another story and another time.

A question: if you fire a bullet strait into the air, does it come back down...and with similar velocity? I imagine lots of folks in the Middle East are injured from gunshot wounds to the scalp.

Explain, please. If you have this impression of me, that I am "a close minded monster" who apparently does not love everyone, then surely you have looked somewhere other than this present post to gain that understanding. This is just a silly, and old, post that has nothing to do with anything much at all. Now, seems to me, if you truly are a Christian- then you would be at least kind enough to explain your opinions. A good Christian- heck just a decent human being- does not go around flinging invectives toward others without explanation or interaction.
