Skylar Has Something To Say

Below is a direct link to a one minute video of my 6-month-old grandaughter.  A recent picture is also to the right.  Please look and listen, and meet my pride and joy:

One Minute Video Of Beautiful Skylar

Obviously she had something important to say.  There is little need for me to interpret or elaborate.  I'll simply give her the forum for a moment, and trust you get the message.  I think what she has to say is quite clear.

We have the joy of spending time with her almost daily.  As usual, I've been making some pictures- and admittedly, they no doubt excite me more than you.  What can I say...I'm a doting grandparent.

This video was taken with my new camera, a Kodak EasyShare CD33.  It's 3.1 MP (plenty enough for me) and boasts some impressive features: video & sound, all kinds of settings, 3X optical focus lens, it takes an sd card (I use a 1 GB card with ample room), etc.  I'm impressed.  I bought it from TigerDirect, one of my favorite online electronics stores.  Best of all it cost $59!  I think it is a great deal; maybe you should check it out.

Can any of you t-blog technophiles tell me how I can embed this video in a post, instead of the sidebar?  Your help would be greatly appreciated.

This kid is pretty neat, don't you think?

Actually what I was most impressed by was your voice, Dave. That is you doing the shoot, isn't it? I don't know why I imagined you having a typical American-TV accent, rather than a Dukes of Hazzard accent which is what I should have expected.
As for embedding, a good rule of thumb involves hacking into the HTML then trying to inject that HTML into your post. If tBlog doesn't parse it, then it shouldn't be a problem.

"Dukes of Hazzard accent" - ? I think you should know that my accent is a genteel, refined, cultured, Southern brogue of the highest pedigree. Dukes of Hazzard- hah. As I eat my grits and drink my sweet tea, I'll continue to feel injury from your insult.

Thank you. You've taught me a new word. Indeed, this little girl is constantly doted upon by me, and I think deserving of every bit.

I hear a similarly sounding word sometimes used in description of myself, "dolt". I'm a dolt, I confess.

You see, Dave, even as I read your response the voice in my head has an accent like one of the less colourful (or colorful) nameless characters on the Simpsons. I have to start thinking of the right characters...

"All my money, all my beautiful money!" - no, his voice is too high
"Cuff'em'n'stuff'em, coo coo coo" - no, his voice is even higher.

I'll have to think about this

Pastor Dave -- for you to embed a video into a post, use the advanced editor and click on the HTML box. Where you uploaded your video, they should have an embedding code for you to use. Copy the code. Paste the code into the HTML box, and close it. The video should be on your post. You can box it and center it using the editing tools. Hope this helps.

Had to come over and see the blogging baby again.
She is a doll!
I like the fake coughing.

She looks like just like you - though somehow she's adorable whereas that's not something I'm not sure I'd say about the good PD.
