Justice
The Atlanta-Journal Constitution
All four men in the photograph served long prison sentences in the state of Georgia for wrongful convictions. They are, left to right: Clarence Harrison, 17 years; Robert Clark, 24 years; Calvin Johnson Jr. 16 years; and Clarence Williams, 21 years. All were freed from convictions in separate and unrelated cases, based upon DNA evidence. They are smiling, which I think is remarkable.
Do you notice anything else these men have in common?

Barbara stole my thunder.
I can't tell from the photographs, but I sure hope their wallets are jammed full of state money AND every penny the prosecutors of their cases have ever earned or ever will, AND I hope those same prosecutors enjoy the very same cells these guys occupied for the same number of years. No... Make it TWICE as many years.

I think the fact that DNA should be used more in court cases and the fact that each one was in prison for such a long period of time!

I watched a documentary called After Innocence which focused on seven similar cases. I was surprised by the lack of bitterness. I'm sure I'd be seething. Florida even kept one of them incarcerated two years after they knew he was innocent because the DA was too proud to admit a mistake was made. So...what do these guys have in common? Are they democrats?

I'm afraid there is little chance the prosecutors will suffer much. Rich white guys vs. poor black guys? You know who is going to win.

Hey Kathy. Good to have you come around.
DNA testing is much more reliable and precise than in times past. Interesting how a convincing prosecutor can so portray a case and "justice" as to manipulate the system with his skills. These guys, and all minorities, deserve better.

I'll stereotype and guess they are all democrats. But that's not the answer I'm seeking.
