Kiribati. Far away, in the South Pacific. Poor. Out of the way. No natural resources. Of course, as I have read, the island will be underwater if 40 years because of global warming.

I am going to do my best to approach the future of this country with optimism and hope. Obama and the Democrat Congress will have to earn my distrust and pessimism. Who knows? Maybe, the future is bright.

Think of it this way. Many people are engaged in their government in a way they never were before. If just a small percentage of those people turn that energy into something productive that will help the nation, things are bound to get better. Right??
