Passing Judgment On Others Can Make A Person Hungry
This morning I went to an orthopedic hospital to visit with a lady who will be having surgery for a broken hip. On the way out, I walked through a large, open waiting area filled with at least thirty patients. Everyone was overweight. While leaving I did a double-take and then wondered why? These people are seeking treatment for bone and health problems and being overweight exacerbates such issues. It is probable that the added stress upon their bodies can cause the health problems. But, it can also be true that having bone and joint pain will keep a person from exercising properly, which can further lead to weight issues.
I perused: “Which is easier, to discipline oneself to diet and exercise properly, or to be burdened with the cost and pain of treating the symptoms?”
Getting into my car, I drove to McDonald’s, and enjoyed a #4: sausage biscuit, two hash browns, and a Diet Coke. 830 calories, 44 grams of fat. I was fortunate not to break a hip as I exited the door.

Diet coke don't help...they make you more hungry!!
I was exercising with a 5 spring chest pull, but my left elbow gave out, for 3 of the exercises..It gave me great strength tho-..now got more problems, I walk with a walker, and both arms hurt like mad when I walk...can't go far!! walking with a cane is even harder, yet I must if I intend to go our and eat on Sat and sun. Sure don't like what's happening!!! Would like to lose 30 pounds!! but how without arms or legs???

Yeah Barnabus, but at least it WAS a diet Coke. I don't drink much soda, but what I do drink would surely be more sugar than I need. Instead I too poison my body with whatever the hell they're using to sweeten the Diet stuff these days. This time of year, it's unsweetened Iced Tea for me at McDonalds. I always feel like I'm drinking something much better for me, but I'm sure it's poison too, somehow.

Hey, I'm still reeling from the news that some sunscreens contain ingredients that cause cancer when exposed to the sun! Drink up, baby - we're all gonna die. It's up to you to pick your poison.

That McDonald's tea is fabulous. I like it alot. Especially their sweetened variety is like syrup, almost. And that is true Southern-tasting stuff. I'm pretty sure I could teach you Yankees a thing or two about good iced tea.

5-spring chest pull? Good grief, you are asking for problems! Exercise with something a little less strenuous, like maybe a Big Mac and fries. Likely you will not pull a muscle lifting those.

As bad as my eating habits tend to be, I stay faithful to diet drinks. I would like to think they have saved me a gain of about 30 pounds?
