Jennice Wood Threlkeldif they are already decided to have an abortion, this ultrasound is FAR less invasive than inserting a knife and vacuum tube into the uterus and cutting up the baby, vacuuming it out, with the very real possibility of injuring the mother to...See More17 hours ago · ·

Dave Lyle “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations.”- Jer. 1:5 I guess you would have no problem with killing this great prophet of God, if the alternative would be the discomfort of the mother?16 hours ago ·
Brian BarrierIt is black and white to so many when the reality of the issue is that there are many decisions and circumstances women AND men face surrounding an abortion itself. This is one more step on the slippery slope of abrogating women's rights ov...See More12 hours ago · ·

Thomas Rawls I find it striking that the same legislators who are pushing this agenda are the same ones who rail against "Big Government" and its level of intrusion into the lives of American citizens. How they can reconcile these opposing views with anything resembling integrity is beyond me. That and the fact that this would mandate a medically unnecessary procedure.11 hours ago · ·

Dave Lyle In calling this a woman's choice, you skip over the fact that half of those babies "terminated" for the sake of convenience are male. I am astounded that people who claim to love God and others seem so quick to suck out the brains of a baby.11 hours ago ·
Charles Kin What are they thinking? Demanding a transvaginal ultrasound!? This amounts to a mechanical/medical rape on the part of the government - very, very telling of the legislators mindset.11 hours ago · ·

Priscilla Lindsey BiddleFirst, I find it amazing that people make this into a black/white, good/evil issue. Abortion is not a good thing, but there are worse things in some cases. In those cases -- mother's health, severe fetal abnormality, rape and incest, for ex...See Moreabout an hour ago · ·

Dave Lyle Personally, I have no problem with what you do with your private parts. However, what you do with the uterus, penis ,or various other body parts of another human being with which you might be gifted of God to nurture- I think it becomes a matter of morality, black and white as you say.about an hour ago ·
Priscilla Lindsey BiddleDave, for the sake of the boyhood you and Mark shared, I am walking away from this argument. There are many medical and moral flaws with your argument, among them the fact that Biblical theology, in total, whether Old or New testament, is never black and white if read in context. For my part, however, I can't see the gropings of 14 year olds or abuse of sex offenders or carrying a baby to term that has no brain and who will die at birth as "gifts of God." Morality is a culturated norm, NOT a dictate from the deity off the mountain - Or else you would still be marrying your brother's widow to father his children in absentia...52 minutes ago ·
Dave Lyle That's walking away?
To me, I can't fathom that Jesus would be OK with stabbing a pair of scissors into the neck of a partially born infant to facilitate the vacuuming of her brains. As I understand it, he wrapped his arms around little children. I think He would be sickened over the idea that a woman has the right to kill a viable fetus simply because, well, it's what she wants. It seems to me a society has a moral responsibility to protect the most vulnerable from the powerful and ruthless. Who is more vulnerable than a little child? I'm certainly no expert with the Old Testament prophets. But seems I recall much condemnation of those who invaded Israel/Judah for their barbarism- dashing the heads of infants against the walls. I think the same prophets would point a steely finger and boom God's judgment to our society that promotes abortion at any point, for any reason. And, what would such a prophet say to ministers of the gospel who support such evil? It is a matter highly troubling to me.
